Different header for different areas: catalog, account, cart, checkout, information pages

In other carts, I have seen the ability to have different navigation schemes (usually different colors) appear for different areas of the catalog/cart.

 

I would like to have a different header image -- or header.php -- load for: catalog, account, cart, checkout, and various information pages. I've searched for contributions like this and haven't found anything... Have I missed it?

 

Can this be done in OSC? How?
