jchin Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 I had an oscommerce setup and I just moved it to another server. I had to change some of the sql stuff to get it to run the catalog. However, now my ssl-protected content doesn't work. I get the following errors: Warning: Unknown(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/jchin/public_html/thehonorsprogram/account.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/hnrsprg/:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in Unknown on line 0 Warning: Unknown(/home/jchin/public_html/thehonorsprogram/account.php): failed to open stream: Operation not permitted in Unknown on line 0 Those paths are to the account on the old server. I did a search in my files and in the sql database and I don't find "jchin" or "thehonorsprogram". What do I need to do to fix this? Thanks in advance.
GraphicsGuy Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 In a stock osc installation, the paths are defined in the two configure.php files. In some installaions done by control panels or host companies, they employ overide configurations found in both admin/includes/local/ and /includes/local/. hth Rule #1: Without exception, backup your database and files before making any changes to your files or database. Rule #2: Make sure there are no exceptions to Rule #1.
jchin Posted January 25, 2006 Author Posted January 25, 2006 I checked the configure.php files and I've already updated all of it to the new server info. "jchin" or "thehonorsprogram" aren't in the file at all.
