Guest Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Changing the admin directory name to a random set of numbers and letters is a good way, don't forget to make the changes in your configure.php files. Also password protect it using your web site control panel (CPanel for example). Also don't put your admin directory name in your robots.txt file as a disallowed directory, that file is readable in any browser. Look in the tips and tricks section for more info there.
