Guest Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 I'm trying to have some custom product links on the front of my store.. My question is, how do I make the links to the product and have oscommerce insert the osCsid=45c2f765753d17712b4288db2fdf4cc0 into the link so it dosent reset the shopping cart contents.... also another problem I'm having is, say i add some products to my shopping cart and I then click the "catalog" link at the top to go back to the front page, I am all of a sudden logged out.. shopping cart contents remain but before I can checkout I have to relogin.. why does it do that on that link? Guest Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 There is not a simpler fix since it is still inside of the store area, cause i just mean on the front page of the store, not another section of my website, thats what it looks like this contribution is aiming at.... anyone got an example of how oscommerce puts together a link?
Guest Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 yes unfortunately even for just a directory step difference you will get the problem. Sessions are manipulated in the application_top.php. With that contribution sessions can be passed outside the osc specific directories and/or domains. to see how the osc generates the links internally check the tep_href_link function definition and how it is called.
