Stonie Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Hello all...... I am new to PHP, osCommerce........could someone PLEASE tell me how to change the admin password in osCommerce? Thank you in advance!
Gil_e_n Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Go to your webspace's control panel. There should be an option to password protect a directory. If not, I'd start looking up .htaccess and .htpasswd in google. You can do it by hand, but it's a pain in the ass. As far as I'm aware, osc doesn't come password protected by default. Always BACK UP your files and your database before making any changes. Before asking questions, check out the Knowledge Base. Check out the contributions to see if your problem's solved there.
