rabbitseffort Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 So--can someone please advise me which of the ccgv mods should I use? I just want to install it and have it work--is there one recent update on there that has all the files needed? Please offer some advise, it looks a little confusing with the 20 or so updates there are --I appreciate it and thank you in advance! "I must admit that I personally measure success in terms of the contributions an individual makes to her or his fellow human beings." ---Margaret Mead--- "The answer is never the answer. Guest Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 I would use yesudo's version, he has the most experience of the people there so that would be a good starting place. When you have it working, DON"T UPDATE EVER AGAIN. Only install it if you want/need to sell Gift Vouchers, if you just want to give customers a discount on their first order that is a simple hack. PS - backup first
rabbitseffort Posted January 26, 2006 Author Posted January 26, 2006 well--I do not need to sell gift vouchers, but I do want to offer discounts to certain customers (example--10% off, etc)--can anyone suggest what I should do for that?? Thanx for any and all advise! MnMeBiz Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 well--I do not need to sell gift vouchers, but I do want to offer discounts to certain customers (example--10% off, etc)--can anyone suggest what I should do for that?? Thanx for any and all advise! I installed contribution: TotalB2B 1.2b and it seems to work fine. A few customers placed orders at a discount. But I have not used it extensively. Thanks Mike
rabbitseffort Posted January 27, 2006 Author Posted January 27, 2006 so what does total B2B do? The contrib says nothing about what it does? MnMeBiz Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 you can set up discount groups (and I think tax or no sales tax) and then place registered users in that group. Thanks Mike
