honunet Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 I am running and older version of OSC (about 2 years old) and i' guessing it's about time to upgrade to a newer version (small things are not working everytime my server company upgrades thier software) I have had some customer work done and don't want to loose my work. I have over 1000 items inmy shop. I had some custome fields installed too. Will and upgrade effect my db?

I too am currentluy running throught this procedure and it is manual cheacks by the looks of it, that is if you have made chnages to your DB schema. Although strictly speaking the export import procedure shoud be pretty straightforward.
