bjarniv Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Hi there, I'm having a little trouble installing osCommerce on to Fedora4, I did a full installation of Fedora (evrything). When I'm in step 2 and push next nothing happens I just get the same page again, like it is frozen. I have phpMyAdmin on this machine and that works fine, I tried installing zen cart and that worked fine. I have sett register_globals = on and also register_long_arrays=on. I also tried this on another machine wich had a full install of Fedora4 and it is the same there. Does anyone have idea what needs to be done to get this working on Fedora 4?
♥Vger Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 If it's not Register Long Arrays then it's probably something to do with Use Old Passwords. Do a search of this forum, or look through just todays posts, bceause it has been mentioned here in the past 24 hrs. Vger
iclubs Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 i am havign the same problem,, ive installed a full fedora core installation, droped and un-compressed oscommerce into the right directory edited php.ini put the registered globals on, and i cannot progress beyond step2? how to fix please

After choosing between install and upgrade (chose install) I get 2 choices "Install the database and add the sample data" and "Save configuration values" I leave both cheked and then push Continue but then nothing happens it is just like the page reloads. I can not see anything about old Passwords, where should I find that? thanks.
