Guest Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 I have a client who wants me to display some type of a terms and conditions or a Things You Should Know Before Purchasing type page as a user is checking out. To put it plainly, the user clicks ADd to cart, then clicks on Checkout - from there, he doesn't go to the checkout page, but to the intermediate page with the terms or things you should know page. Is this possible?
dudacao Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Hi jpipitone, I think yes ! it's possible. I suggest you copy any text page from osCommerce (i.e. privacy or ships and return page) to a new name. Edit them according your needs. Locate ALL LINKS in osCommerce that calls Checkout and change to your new page, but before the changes, insert the best of these links into your new page (like a <continue> buttom calling it). It's an idea ! Sounds complicated ? Think about and do, but ALLWAYS DO A SECURE BACKUP, hmm ? :-) Dudacao Did You Saw The Birds Today ?
Guest Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Well, this could work I guess, but that involves touching many pages. Hi jpipitone, I think yes ! it's possible.
