I want a nice, simple shop, and I'd like to "disable" many of osCommerce's features which I find unecessary. No shipping, packaging, billing, localization, etc. When a customer places an order, it mails me his details (no billing info since I can't afford SSL), and I take it from there with the customer.
♥Vger Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Yes. If you don't apply a shipping charge then the shipping page won't appear. If you limit the number of addresses a customer can have in their address book to 1 then this automatically becomes their shipping address. Enable only the Check Money Order payment method and the customer gets a copy of their order and so do you and you can take it from there. You can reword it to read what you like. There is also a contribution for 'Local Pickup'. If you delete all other countries then your country is the only one that people can select from. Vger
