vkg Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 The behavior of the "Buy Now" button does not seem to be consistent. I use Firefox browser. I noticed the following even with the online demo. Select item "Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer" from mice/Hardware and click on Buy Now button. It takes you to product info page and the item doesn't get added to the shopping cart. If you click on Buy Now button for the second item, "Microsoft IntelliMouse Pro ", the item gets added to the shopping cart without taking you to product info page. I would prefer the second behavior consistently with all items i.e adding to shopping cart and keeping the user in the same page if "Buy Now" button is clicked. I will appreciate any help. Thanks,
ASDCO Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 I use firefox and at some sites my mouse does not work correctly ( i have to use enter on the keyboard instead of a mouse-click) but I never had a problem with osC. If you have front-page open the page where the Buy-Now button is in design/code view, click on the buy-now button and check the a href address on code view, it should point to "add to cart" page if you use paypal, use the sand-box to check it out..
