Hi everyone,

 

I noticed that in FIrefox my store was scrolling extremely slow, it was so bad it was difficult to use the scroll bar by dragging it down.

 

I have no idea what possessed me but I decided to upload a fresh stylesheet to my server and see what affect it had. VOILA! Instant fix but of course all the style elements were back to the original ones. I had to go in and manually put everything back in that I had, but that took 10 minutes of comparing the old with the new. It turns out that the problem lied in multiple instances of the same item in the stylesheet.

 

For example: I had replaced my page background with an image but I neglected to remove the background color tag. I had several of these. There was just a lot of unnecessary lines of code and apparently Firefox and Opera do not like it, IE chugged along without complaint. Now all 3 work perfect.

 

It is a night and day difference. As always back up before you try anything that could affect your store.
