Gil_e_n Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 My store is really divided into two sections - one where the customer cannot actually buy online, they can just get the information, and one where they can buy. (Well, technically it's only one part at the moment, but I have no real interest in coding in something that I'm going to have to fix in a month or two when I don't have time to work on it full time). I have a call for price contribution for that. But what I need is to display in stock or out of stock on the pages where they cannot order, and not display anything of the sort where they can. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could do that? At the moment, I'm contemplating a simple "in stock" or "not in stock" coded into the product description html, but that's going to complicate things further down the line, since in the future the person updating the stock status may or may not be html literate. I'm afraid I'm kind of stuck here. Always BACK UP your files and your database before making any changes. Before asking questions, check out the Knowledge Base. Gil_e_n Posted January 23, 2006 Author Posted January 23, 2006 And after I post asking, I figure out a possible solution - adapting a multiple images mod to upload an in-stock or out of stock image. Haven't done it yet, but it should work. Thank you for at least looking at my question, anyway. :) Always BACK UP your files and your database before making any changes.
