Hey there,

I've been workin on this site for about a month now, and i've added more than i can remember. :)

Atm, it's still a fairly stock layout, with a changed color-scheme, however i'm watin on the graphics to come back, so for now, if you could evaluate on function rather than form, it would be greatly appreicated. SSL is also coming soon, and as yet, payment and postage methods havent been fully worked out, so feel free to do a test order, just say so in the order comments ;)

Let me know wat u think.

What's with the capitalized I in Imperial DominatIion? You use it just often enough that I can't tell whether it's on purpose or not. Either way, it's driving me batty.

I tend to dislike no images available pictures. I can guess that they're unavailable by the non-existence of the picture, so stop inflicting ugly pictures on me.

You really should probably have more products in each category, or combine the categories or something. Frankly, when I click on a category and see 1 subcategory, click on the one subcategory and see one product, I leave the site. It just isn't good organization.

I like the concept of your articles section, but you really need to have a little more in there before it's noteworthy.

Your layout's better than many, but it's really kind of bland. It's almost depressing to look at all that monochromatic nothingness. I'd redo it to make it more colorful. Have random splotches of paint like someone shot a paintball gun on the layout. I don't know. Do something.

Just...nothing about your site is really bad, but nothing about it screams anything other than amateur start-up. And I tend to avoid those websites.

Not bad. Its clean cut and I can get around it. It doesn't have a strong corporate feel to it, but is it supposed to? I guess what I am trying to get at is that if the store is selling goods made by the paintball community for the community, then I guess you do want a natural, amatuer, grass roots feel.

I think a bit more colour would be good as mentioned before. and maybe change the news section titles on the left column - you have 'articles', 'news' and 'latest news'. I cant read that much news dude, but your on the right track - building a community...

Keep at it and think of offline marketing at events etc as this may be the crux for you..

offline + online = good business

You have things free ? example : tech support is seen as a product ! we can put it in cart also.

And (in my opinion), for a fun game you need fun colors :P your shop is a bit "black&white"

MS2 2.2 fr + Manufacturer copy (5 manufacturers - modified to make it works) + More pics 6 + FCK Editor + zones shipping (modified without weight) + My contribution : Shopping Cart Management for Unique Products

I apologize in advance for my poor English I'm French !

Hi there,

thanks for all the replies. I can see the biggest bug-bear of many of u is the color scheme, which after lookin at for a gd month now, really is startin to bug me aswell. However, there is a new graphics set in the works, so the color and layout point is going to be addressed.

As regards the products and articles, it is aimed as a community site as much as a web-store, so the articles section is going to be expanded to contain more info as and when it becomes available.

The capitilisation of the I in DominatIon is meant to be deliberate, however it would appear that the owner hasnt carried this through, so i'll have to have a word with him about that.

With the Tech Support product, i'm not sure of a way around this - i'll have to have a chat and see wat else i could do. Any ideas from u guys on a suitable alternative???

Cheers for all the replies, and keep em comin.
