popup_image size

How do you change the size of the pop up image? Do I do it in the popup_image.php file? I uploaded a pic and it looks ok until you click on the thumbnail and the pop_up comes and the picture takes up the whole screen and then the bottom portion is cut off....the pic is way to big! please help me...thanks

Well you need to not load such big images.

 

You need to realise that even if the thumbnail is small it is just being resized and that huge image is actually being loaded and chewing up bandwidth and slowly down response times.

 

You can also look at using contribution that manage images e.g. Thumbnails on the fly.

Thank you. I will install that contribution but what would you say is a good size image to upload?
