Problem sending mails with XP

Hello everybody,

I am having problems sending emails. OsCommerce doesn't give me any errors, but emails don't arrive.

I am using Win Xp Pro, Apache 2, php 4, and those are the settings in php.ini:

 

SMTP = out.virgilio.it (the smtp server of my isp)

smtp_port = 25

 

; For Win32 only.

sendmail_from = [email protected] (my email account)

 

What is not working? And why there is any setting for the password of the email account?!?

hi have same problem/..

oscommrce doest give error, but mail doesnt arrive.

in my case is even worst, coz i cant access to php.ini

 

i tried to modify my mail script according to someone's contributions, but still doesnt work

how am i suposed to send stmp mail from windows?
