Using image for breadcrumb menu and info box heading??

Hi All,

 

I've seen some great customisations for oscommerce, and as a newbie to this sort of thing im eager to get into this!!

 

What i want to do is devise some cool background for my breadcrumb navigation and infobox headers (i.e. the coloured band behind Top ? Catalog ? Cart Contents and the label on the info boxes, categories, whats new etc)

 

Now i've seen something similar...and just wondered whether you can use an image in the style sheet to define these rather than colours...if so how?

 

Think i'll start devising something in photoshop (not that i really know how), as im sure there is an easy way round this.
