Miles Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 Hi all, I have a store that sells both physical (printed or CD) and downloadable versions of images (maps in this case). I currently have the products set up so they have attributes (downloadable, CD, paper) and the customer then chooses the one they want and away they go. I was wondering if it is possible to perhaps change the admin email (the message that tells the admin that there was a sale) so that it could say whether the purchase was a download (no action required), a future download (the image file has to be put in place), a CD or paper map (has to be burned/packed then shipped). I was thinking that something could be done with the stock quantity so that the message would change depending on the format, but I don't want to keep track of stock on downloadable items. Does this make sense? I looked at the contributions which attach the quantity to the product attribute instead of the product itself, but I'm not sure if this will work with the combination of downloadable/physical goods. Suggestions? Thanks, Miles
