Won't even show shipping rates when checking out

Hi,

 

I am just getting a website setup and im trying to get the shipping rates to work. I am using the table rate module and have it set to weight.

I currently have this as the price table

2:2.00,4:4.00,5:10.00,10:20.00

 

I have changed a products weight to 10 but when i check out no shipping costs appear, i have also tried it with a weight of 1 and still nothing.

If i set it to use price it then works, but as some things on the site are expensive but very light they wouldn't cost that much to post.

I am having the exact same problem as well... I'm not quite sure what to do. I'm using MS2 version.

Check what you have set with admin->configuration->shipping/packaging and the options Package Tare Weight as well as Larger packages - Percentage increase and Maximum Package Weight You Will Ship.

Mostly you want the Tare Weight and Percentage Increase set to 0.

OK, the problem was with the "Shipping Zone" in the Table Rate module. If i set it to UK, which is where i am, it removes the shipping >_<

International codes, UK is GB.

The United Kingdom covers all of the kingdom, like the Falklands. Great Britian just covers England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Island and islands dotted around them (Isle of man etc)
