GhostRider Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 I find this highly strange that the most popular shopping cart does not have confirmed payments before the order is added to the database? I mean we get 500 orders a day right now via our own simple submit, and would like to upgrade to a full shoppign cart. However, we cannot take the time to confirm 500 payments via paypal or verisign link. I have seen a paypal plugin, that might do confirmed payments, but I find it strange that it is not included as a default plugin. Ie it might be succeptable to other hack attempts to fraud a payment. I have not seen a verisign link module that does confirmed payments. I personally think that all online processors (and I think they ALL do some form of postback to confirm if the payment went through) to be added as a default module. Not some module that you can easily trick into adding items to the db. Quote
