Is The Category Page Search Engine Friendly?

I found that people find my site only from index.php page

while no people search me from category page which I think is an important page for SEO, as the category page can be tailor made to one keyword and have relevant product link.

 

What do you think of it? Do category pages important for your SEO work?

Yes, as are all of the product pages. Install the Header Tags Controller contribution, run the included Fill Tags option and your categories and products will optimized for you. Most people start seeing products show up as a result fairly quickly.
