Load OSC in a different Directory

can you tell me if osc can be installed into a different directory.

 

i want it to install into something like

 

www.mysite.com/myfolder/catalog

 

i want the catalog folder to be the root for a particular domain, when you type in www.thisismystore.com it goes to the folder and front page of OSC, this is due to hosting under one company with lots of subdomains.

 

If this is possible can you let me know which files need amending, and the best way to start a fresh install.

YOu need to change the 2 config files(one in catalog/includes the othere in catalog/admin/) I believe. I had my store set up like that, but yesterday accidently deleted the database(long story). I'm searching for the info again too..lol. It's in the forum, that's where I found it the first time!
