Nicky8184 Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 Looks like I've lost a few big sales due to an error that suddenly appeared last night, and it affects anyone in Canada. I've tried adjusting the address format to no avail, though last night when I "removed" the WPP module, then added it right back, I was able to test-order something to be shipped to Canada ujst fine, but it's reverted back to not working this morning. Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated. PayPal's site has nothing. It had been working fine, then *poof*. Error: (10750) The field Shipping Address State is in an invalid format. For US/CA states and territories, enter a valid two letter state code. Quote
Nicky8184 Posted January 18, 2006 Author Posted January 18, 2006 Now I've reinstalled the whole thing, and still get the same error for any order with a Canadian shipping address, and likely any other international, though I haven't tested others yet. Has anyone else had this problem, or am I just lucky? <_< Quote

dynamoeffects Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 PayPal Pro is sold as a "USA only" service, but people like SteveDallas have had some success modifying my module to work with other countries. Out of curiosity, which module are you using? Quote Please use the forums for support! I am happy to help you here, but I am unable to offer free technical support over instant messenger or e-mail.

Does SteveDallas post his codes here? I'd take reference. Quote

me23 Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 I had the same thing happen - WPP has been working fine for months and I tested checkout today and it appears that it is broken. Although the error I get does not have to do with shipping, maybe it is related? Clicking on the Express Checkout button on the cart now serves this error: MODULE_PAYMENT_PAYPAL_EC_TEXT_PROCESS_ERROR If you try to use paypal as the payment method in checkout, you get this error on Paypal's site: Authorization Failed This transaction is invalid. Please return to the recipient's website to complete your transaction using their regular checkout flow. If you try to use a valid credit card in checkout, you get this error: There has been an error processing your credit card. Please try again. Is anyone else seeing the same problems? I haven't changed ANY code on the site, and the paypal account is in good standing. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Quote

It seems Paypal does supply account for Canadian users, but doesn't support credit card direct payment function. If anyone can help me to solve the problem or supply me with a genuine and overwhelming conclusion, I will customize any PHP webpage to her/his requirements. Quote

If anyone can help me to solve the problem or supply me with a genuine and overwhelming conclusion, I will customize any PHP webpage to her/his requirements. I saw a post here, it reads: State name for NL should be blank, for GB or AU should be spelled out, for CA or US should be two letters. And Paypal Direct Payment System do parse Canada State name in this way. Wish you good luck. My website: testing.networkdictionary.com/DPModule/ Quote
