Guest Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 I have changed my url directory paths without changing my absolute paths by installing a redirect on my webhosts control panel so i could do away with me splash page. Upshot of this is 'absolutely speaking' everything is still where it was, yet html-wise, it appears as though a direcory has been removed (the catalog one) If a customer clicks on the manufacturers box on the front page and chooses a manufacturer they get sent to a 404 page as it still references to a direcory path with the old "catalog" in it. As far as i can see, both admin/includes/configure and catalog/includes/configure have all been changed so that absolute paths are true as they were and url paths have the catalog folder removed. SO... my question is... does the manufacturer link use an absolute path? And how do i get around that? Thanks in advance
