tantrum Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Sorry if this has been asked before but once again I have searched and not found an answer. I want to change my header log for some html with an image embeded in it, so I can hav rollovers etc http://www.theramp.co.uk http://www.theramp.co.uk/images/skatehead2.htm http://www.theramp.co.uk/images/skatehead2.jpg Any help would be appreciated!
♥Vger Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 There's nothing stopping you using html in includes/header.php. It's already being used in that file for the existing image/links placement. Vger

Vger Cool thanks, its just that I added a center shop contribution which makes the header.php file refer to another file called center_shop.php which only has a link for an image file, and my php coding skills are limited to copy and paste just now with limited understanding!! I think its because the code specifically says that the linking file will be an image file, as if I try and change it to be .html it doesn't load and I get the text error message instead of a header. I just want my header to be slightly more than a basic image with hotspots to link to different pages.
♥Vger Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Uninstall Center Shop, including the database tables you installed for it (if it's the 'Center Shop' I'm thinking of), and then use Fixed Width Site With CSS (link below my name). Vger
tantrum Posted January 18, 2006 Author Posted January 18, 2006 wow how easy is that?! That other one has been doing my head in... referring to another file is confusing when you are reading other contributions that don't take that into consideration! When doing contributions is there an easy way of comparing two php files and combining them? To save overwriting/scowering through text?
