myideal Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Hiya, This is really strange and ive not changed anything which is why i dont understand this one. My site works ok until the customer reaches the PayPal page when the site asks for the OSCommerce admin password. Does anyone know whats wrong with this? All help and advice would be great! You can access the site; www.my-ideal.com and make some sample purchases to see for yourself if you like. Thanks in advance, Mark
myideal Posted January 18, 2006 Author Posted January 18, 2006 Hiya, Ive been reading more on this (or trying too) and it appears that i seem to be the only one with the problem, so do you think its a problem with PayPal?
Guest Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 Hiya, Ive been reading more on this (or trying too) and it appears that i seem to be the only one with the problem, so do you think its a problem with PayPal? While I have no clue how to fix this problem thought some one else looking might be of help. When I proceed to make my payment via paypal from your cart I get a SSL Warning Box. If I click YES to view the secure/non-secure information I get the pop up box to log into your admin area for osc. But if I click NO on the SSL warning box I do not see it. But some of the images on the paypal page do not load. Sorry I know it's no help but might ring a bell for one of the osc gurus.. -- Mindy

5ms Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Hiya, Still now joy with this one at all so if anyone can help please feel free to do so. My site can be found at www.my-ideal.com It really is annoying because I cant honestly see what the problem is and/or why? Could it be a reg globals issue btw? I visit your site and its not directing me to the checkout/payment process. Please have a try for yourself.
myideal Posted January 23, 2006 Author Posted January 23, 2006 Hiya, Ive just got to the checkout process and the same happens when it is asking if I want to sell all items. When I click yes, then I get this box asking for my osc password.
♥Vger Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 That link to your 'admin' section is to a subdomain at shop.my-ideal.com, and not to the main domain. I'd suggest you check both of your configure.php files as the error may be found there. You've also modified this cart to accept only Pay Pal payments, with no checkout_payment.php page being displayed, so I assume it's Pay Pal Direct with Pay Pal Website Payments Pro that you are using. There is a contribution support forum for that which may answer your question. Vger
myideal Posted January 23, 2006 Author Posted January 23, 2006 Its the early version of the PayPal IPN module that I was using. I was thinking myself that the location of the image could maybe the problem, but thats in the top level root which is why I couldnt understand why its started picking this error up now.
user99999999 Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 If you customized the look of your paypal page make sure not to use images from your catalog not your admin admin. This image will require a password to display on a paypal page. http://mystore.com/catalog/admin/images/logo.gif This one doesnt. http://mystore.com/catalog/images/logo.gif And thats what I see happening there. style="background-image: url(http://shop.my-ideal.com/admin/images/logo.gif);
