Categories not showing on catalog

Hi there!

I've finaly installed osCommerce and I`m slowly trying to get my shop runing.

One of the problems I can't seem to find any thread on is that I?ve created new categories, even sub-categories with a couple of products on each.

On one thread I read that there shouldn't be any subcategories so off they went... But no luck.

As long as I kept the "default" products I could get a page when I clicked on the categories, but it seems that after I removed those I get a "The page cannot be found" page... I can see how many products I have in every category (now only a couple of fake ones...) but no way I can reach them.

On the admn side I can see that there is a STATUS column but it has no value (on the categories) for products I can set it to red or green.

could someone please help me on this one?

Oi Lia olha instala o pack de instala??o em portugu?s e talvez j? te ajude mais, eu tou achar estranho pq quando se clika no Ring ele n?o aparecer nada na proxima p?gina, mas alguma coisa n?o tas a fazer correctamente.

Eu tamb?m sou novo nisto do OScommerce ainda tou aprender muita coisa sobre isto, no qual ainda tenho umas d?vidas em alguns sitios. Sabes eu estava habituado em Web PHP-Nuke que ? um pouco diferente deste, mas ainda ando ? procura como e onde se altera algumas op??es.

 

1 delas ? como proteger a ?rea de administra??o que ainda n?o sei como fazer, e a 2? ? como posso alterar o endere?o em cima onde diz TOP, n?o sei qual ? o ficheiro onde devo alterar.
