workinforwealth Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 I'm new to oscommerce and have loaded it, gotten past the register_globals problem by scanning the forums - Thanks! I'm on the second screen of the web based installation, have both options checked (Import Catalog Database & Automatic Configuration) but when I click Continue, it just redisplays the screen. It does not proceed to the next step in the installation process. I'm assuming it's something minor and silly I've missed so if anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
♥Vger Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 The most common cause for installation getting stuck in step 2 is that most recent PHP installations have register_long_arrays = OFF This needs to be turned to ON in the php.ini file (you will need to restart your web server and/or restart the server to get this change to take effect.)
