Dipper Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 I have read the oscommerce manual and have searched this site for an answer and have found none. My problem is that my admin panel is not password protected. Anyone can point their browser to mysite.com/catalog/admin and have full access to my admin panel. I read something in the documentation that says I have to "htaccess" my catalog/admin directory. I don't know what it means to "htaccess" something. I apologize for my greenness, but I really could use some help. Thanks.

Look for an option called Directories or something and from there you can choose a directory to password protect. For .htaccess protection search the forum and you will find plenty of entries for this, ie. here.
