One Product - Customized Attributes

I'm thinking of opening a second store with a different product. It would be a customized product where the customer would choose a design, color, etc., so I'd need to learn about attributes.

 

Does anyone have a one-product (or a few) store already setup that they'd be willing to share the URL or if you have any ideas on how to implement a one-product store, I'd love to hear them.

 

I'm not sure I'd need categories, so I'm not sure how to lay it out and I'd love to see how others have handled this.

Okay, I've decided it will be a design-your-own type store. Has anyone set up a store where they have one product line and the customers choose the elements to create a custom design?

 

I'm thinking I'd use the option contribution, but I'm not sure how to make it all come together.

 

Any suggestions on how to integrate that with the osCommerce shopping cart?

 

I've looked through many pages of the "Live Shops," but I haven't seen an example of what I'm trying to do.
