Guest Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Everything installed fine as usual, ive performed quite a few installs of oscom, and never ever have i had this problem. Done the usual after install, deleted the install dir, then chmod /includes/configure.php to the correct number. Still had warning at the top of the page, i've tried setting it to 644, 444, and 400, yet the warning is still there. I can't figure it out and im starting to get cross lol >_< Anyone got any ideas?

Confirm that the chmod settings are indeed sticking when you set them. I experienced something similar with a particular site where I would change the permissions yet go back and see they were still at 777. Be well, Tina If you're not having fun you're not doing it right Teach a person to fish rather than give them a loaf of bread or however that saying goes.
Guest Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Fixed it ! Did it through cPanel File Manager. Not thinking enough.
