Customising Languages

Hi,

currently, there are three languages installed by default on our homepage complete with the flags, shown on the right: English, German and Spanish. I would like to get rid of the German and keep English and Spanish. How do I do this please? I've deleted the German folder and also the german.php, but there's still a hyperlink called 'deutsch' appearing. when you click on it, you get an error message. All I need to do now is delete this hyperlink, but does anyone know which php file this hyperlink is stored on?

Thanks

Before you delete files go in admin->localization->languages and delete the german in there

Similar question I'm trying to figure out how to delete the language and currency boxes, although I do want the defaults to be English and the us dollar for the overall site. Will deleting them from the admin tool mess other files/things up?

I tried looking at this from the right_column.php file and didn't how to work it out there. I'm still a novice at this.

Thanks in advance!

Any languages you do not want you can delete in the admin.

To remove the boxes from the right column you will need to edit your includes/column_right.php file and comment out or remove the code that calls for the boxes
