jamieC Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 I'm actually using mosCommerce with my Mambo install, but when it tries to connect it fails. I noticed it is trying to connect to my server domain without the dots, but in config.php my server name is stored with the dots. Is this something that is a common problem on installation due to user error (is there something I missed on install) or could it be an issue with the developer's use of osCommerce for Mambo? I figured I'd try here first in case it was a common issue. I've successfully installed osCommerce before, but never using this Mambo bridge.
jamieC Posted January 16, 2006 Author Posted January 16, 2006 I found the issue. It turns out that mosCommerce installed osCommerce and included the info in the configure.php files without single quotes. Once I changed the configure.php files so that the server, db name, username and password were all in single quotes everything worked just fine.
