Guest Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 I need help from those who have installed a GoDaddy SSL certificate into the SSL Manager in cPanel. My SSL certificate is ready for me to install, but I just don't know where to get the .crt file to copy/paste into the SSL Manager in cPanel. I do not see it under "manager your certificate" in my GoDaddy certificate account. Can someone walk me through the steps? Thanks in advance.
♥Vger Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Didn't I post a link about GoDaddy SSL Certs, from GoDaddy's Help site in a previous post? Vger
Guest Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Yeah, but those installation instructions for cPanel are not matching up to what I see in my cPanel's SSL Manager and I am lost.
Guest Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 the .zip file GoDaddy sent me has two certs in it: one with my domain name and the intermediate (sf_issuing.crt).
Guest Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 or do I just have to install the bundle and if so, how does that point to my specific cert? They are not very detailed and specific in these things.
♥Vger Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 I'm sorry, but I don't use cPanel, and use the Ensim Pro Panel. That's simple, you just click the 'Import' button and copy and paste the text of the certificate, click Save and it's all done. You either need a response from someone used to cPanel or Google for cPanel Tutorials. Vger
Maggilove Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Installing a certificate in cPanel is just as simple. Open SSL manager... click Certificates (CRT)... either copy and paste the certificate into the box or browse to find the .crt file... click upload.
