Drop Down Boxes

My site sells 3 different items for every car out there on the market. I want to make my site a little more "user friendly" Right now the site really isint where I would like it to be.

What I am looking for is instead of ea of my items going under the catagories section of my site and making the page way to long and yucky looking I would like to do something like this

What i am looking at is the drop down selector boxes uner the "part selection" section on this page. I am just not sure how to make these drop down boxes. I have looked in the Contributions site and cant find what I am looking for.

Can anyone help me figure this out? Or point me in a direction where I can read up about it???? Anyone....?

If you want to write this yourself you'd need a) an HTML form and b) a PHP script to handle the HMTL info. My starting point has been "PHP and MySQL" by Peachpit Press - guides you through the process of writing forms and PHP scripts. Alternatively, any good source on PHP & Form writing.

Best of luck!

I'm also looking into the best way to do the same thing. I'm working on a project where we currently sell over 2000 items for one car and we are expanding to all makes and models.
