stock quantity not subtracting

Hey there people, i have run into a problem.. i installed the 'Quantity for Product Attributes Mod' which lets me assign different quantities to a variable of the same product,

in my case i am assigning quantities to different sizes of the same shirt design,

for instance 5small green shirt, 10medium green shirt, 7large green shirt etc..

 

The mod seemed to function fine, it let me assign the quantities to the different sizes, but the problem is when someone bought a large shirt, it did not subtract that 1 shirt from the total i entered,

whats more is it then said i was out of stock of that garment??!

 

When i first created the shirt as a product i gave it a quantity of '50' total,

i then went to product attributes and added the different size variable for that product,

i then assigned a quantity to each of these sizes,

now when i goto edit that shirts attributes it shows the total quantity box greyed out and '0',

but below there are all the different sizes with their proper quantities assigned,

so this would be fine if the mod was working, but as i said when a size is purchased it did not subtract..

 

Does anyone know what i may be doing wrong or how i can fix this, as it is quite important that the quantities

of my product are set to specific amounts (they are limited edition)
