Old orders

I love oscommerce but there is just one major huge thing that I just noticed is going to cause some problems.

 

I need a system that when I have the order invoiced and shipped out, it should clear it off the orders list and then send it to a history file. Where it can be referenced if need be from admin.

 

When the customer logs on to there account they should only see open orders and if they want to see pass history they can.

 

Is this possible or am I just a dreamer?
