Im new to osCommerce and maybe everyone already knows this - but since it's caused me no end of grief, here it is.

 

Changes I made to info boxes weren't working until I went (as a final last gasp effort) into the administration tool

 

Configuration -> Tools -> Cache Control

Click the action icon on each box to reset.

 

Eureka! It's magic - all my changes appeared.
