Hi,

i've got a shop up and running with paypal as the only payment method. I've now got a merchant account, signed up with Protx VSP form and want to integrate it with my site...but i need some simple instructions on how to go about this.

i have downloaded the Protx form contribution...http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ons,441/page,17

but i'm not too sure what to do next.

Should i temporarily take down my site in order to check the protx module?

protx have given me a test area...but i'm not sure how to use it.

can anyone help me out?

if they can i will post the steps involved on this forum to help any future users.

thanks

hi,

i have installed the contribution, now i just need to know what settings to put into the admin panels module section.

the options are as follows:

Enable Protx Form Module:

Merchant ID: i know this

Password: presumably the one from Protx?

Transaction Currency: i know this

Payment Zone: i know this

Set Order Status: i know this

Sort Order of Display: i know this

Test Mode:

Use Pre-Authorisation:

Shopping Cart:

I obviously need to test this before the site goes live and just wondered if anyone could tell me what i have to do in order to start testing transactions.

thanks

Hello,

You will have been provided with an encryption password by Protx. You enter that as your password into OSCommerce. That is the password responsible for encrypting the data you send to Protx, and that they return to you.

Besides that you will need to :

Enter your Protx Vendor name (or Merchant ID)

Make sure you are set to send transactions to the Protx test server

Send off a couple of transactions and you should see them appearing then in the Protx test area
