Newbie needs help

Hey guys. Im a new business owner and a new osCommerce user. Im starting to understand things a little better but I need some help.

 

I have some companies that dropship items to my customers for certain items only. I need a way to add the flat shipping fee they charge for this to these items only.

 

If anyone can help I would appriciate it. And please don't get too technical on me...unless your gonna hold my hand as I make changes.

You could try the Individual Product shipping or MultiVendor Shipping contributions. I think they both will do what you want.

How do I add this contributions? and where would I find them?

In the community menu above is a link to the contributions. Type in Individual product shipping in the search string. Once you have found it, download it and unzip it. There will be instructions in the package.

Another Q....is there a contribution to make it possible to put letters in the price box? I sell tires and I dont want to have to list EVERY size option (theres 50+ sizes for some versions.) I just want to put "Call for pricing" on there.

I have certain products that can only be shipped one way. Is there a configuration or someway to make that the only option available for those items?

For your first question, you may want to look at the Call for Price contribution. The second one would require a shipping per item contribution, of which there are several I think.
