Guest Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Yes, you can definately have sub-categories and even sub-sub-categories.... just create a category, then double (or single click) on its yellow folder, then either create a new category or add a product. And you are able to move products and categories around to different levels.
Guest Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 you'right! thanks alot but how can i have items in different categories without copying by hand?
Guest Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Depends on what ya mean "by hand". You can always have an item "copy to" either via link or duplication into additional categories. Just find that particular item in the admin/catalog section and use the "copy to" button located on the right when you have it highlighted as a selection.
Guest Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 i want to have s.th. like a symlink. if i change details of one the other should get changed too
Guest Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 If you do a "copy as" using the link option to another category, then anytime you edit the description on the one, all the other listings change as well.
