Gil_e_n Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Splash pages suck. Especially when they don't even match the site. That by itself was enough to drive me away. I was wondering if you were using the splash page as you maybe unsure of how to move your store to your root directory which would mean a customer would be straight on to your osc home page when they go to your web address. Its worth noting that when a customer clicks "top" in the breadcrumb, they are taken out of your store back to the splash/entry page. A few suggestions would be to work on your header. This can change and improve the look of your store dramatically. At the moment it looks very basic a bit "homemade". I find the best way is to design my ideas in Adobe Photoshop, then call the slices from that into includes/header.php file. It would also be worth looking for a nice set of buttons as once again these look very basic. The Welcome Guest text on your index page is very stock osc and i would recommend changing it to something else. Maybe check out other stores to get some ideas. regards jaz
