Guest Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 I am amazed at how difficult this is to find my way around. I just got signed on to bluehost and i'm trying to get the oscommerce thing going. It's uploaded into my ftp site... but I am not finding how to get in to my commerce and place my inventory in there. I do have an excel file I downloaded from my other site and would like to just insert the file in oscommerce. that would sure save alot of input time. Is this possible? thanks!!

If you would like to upload your excel database you will have to install a contribution called "easy populate", find it here: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1838

I tried typing in the path you have.... using my IP address instead of domain name... and it gives me page cannot be displayed. Thank you for your help..... I sure need it! Guest Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Try http://IPaddress/catalog/admin if you installed to a catalog folder, or just http://ipaddress/admin if you installed to the root directory.
