Option to Donate at checkout

Hello.

 

Is it possible to give our puchasing customers the option to make a donation when they get to checkout?

Is there code available that we can add to the checkout page that allows customers to enter their own amount for a donation? A line that simply says, 'Would you like to make a donation?', and then gives them the option to key in what they want to donate, which is then automatically updated in their checkout total. Is this a possibility with Os Commerce?

For four years there has been posts asking how or for a contrib to do this. With nothing. So, it must not be that easy to create. I would pay someone to create it.

It's time for you to have a think mate - the contributions for osC are written by people who want them on their store - there is no tribe of code monkeys waiting for someone to say they want something before they produce an add-on.

 

If you find and pay someone to write the code up for you, will you be sharing it with the rest of the community? Was that a no? Maybe that's what all the others have done in the last 4 years

If someone was to create for me what many have been asking for the last 4 years, I would find a couple people who would chip in for the cost and then provide it for the osc community. It is a feature to help charities-a good cause.
