1054 - Unknown column 'comments' in 'field list'

Hiya everyone,

I've just installed a fresh version of OSCommerce and I've hit a bit of a problem which I was hoping one of you guys could help me. Basicaly When trying to put an order through it all goes fine untill you hit confirm order. You are then presented with the following error, I have absolutely no idea what it means. I've tried seaching the forums and people have had similar problems but i couldent tell if/how they had fixed it.. I have removed all the values that were on the end of the error code.

 

1054 - Unknown column 'comments' in 'field list'

insert into orders (customers_id, customers_name, customers_company, customers_street_address, customers_suburb, customers_city, customers_postcode, customers_state, customers_country, customers_telephone, customers_email_address, customers_address_format_id, delivery_name, delivery_company, delivery_street_address, delivery_suburb, delivery_city, delivery_postcode, delivery_state, delivery_country, delivery_address_format_id, billing_name, billing_company, billing_street_address, billing_suburb, billing_city, billing_postcode, billing_state, billing_country, billing_address_format_id, payment_method, cc_type, cc_owner, cc_number, cc_expires, date_purchased, last_modified, orders_status, comments, currency, currency_value) values

Please don't bump. It's against forum policy. This forum is busy enough without everyone bumping their posts.

 

Sometimes I find that a Google search gives better responses than the forum search. You can limit results to the OSC forums by using the site keyword:

How did you install OSC (Fantastico, manual, install script)? Which version (you can find this in includes/application_top.php around line 38)? Did you try to install any contributions?
