Hic Leones Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Dear Forum Members, after unsuccessfully searching the forum, I'd like to obtain advice/information on the following topic: (a) has the implementation of automatic software release codes already been discussed ? i.e. 1. Customer buys my software (via my osCOMM-Shop of course...) 2. Upon installation, my software generates a customer(computer)-specific code number 3. The customer sends me his name, etc; + the customer-specifc code number 4. My osComm-Shop verifies and automatically allocates a customer-specific release code 5. The customer releases the software on his computer 6. The whole process runs automatically and everybody is happy... (I) If yes: Which search words do I have to use to find this topic ? (software/code/release generates too much ...) (II) If no: is this planned in the livable future ? I very much appreciate your input ! Sincerely Hic Leones

I do not believe there is a contribution available for this. Looks like you will have to either make this up yourself or hire someone to do it.... cheers, Peter M.
