Can Oscommerce do That?

First of all I would like to say Hi and Happy New Year!

 

My question is can OsCommerce be used as affiliate magazine. What I would like to do is to sign up for example with DVD store, upload/customize their data feed on my OsCommerce web site and start selling.

 

However what I actually need is when customer picks the product and sees the information, to be able not to add the product directly to its card, but instead click purchase and go directly to the merchant purchase page. In this case no card will be needed, but instead only redirect from my product page to merchant?s purchase page.

 

If someone knows how OsCommerce could do that, please respond to me ASAP

This is exactly what I like to do to. I'm thinking of something like dealtime.com

 

I like the visitor to view my product, then read the description, then if they like to purchase it, it would show where it can be found at with prices and all. I would in return get a commission for the sale. I hope someone knows something about this. Thank you so much.

No its not simple.

 

I would suggest contracting a programmer to do this work for you if you dont have the skills. A good place to find a programmer is the team page and osCommerce and also community sponsors :thumbsup:
