The Doctor Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 What was the update? Added links to the shop on the site
The Doctor Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 Adding the shop tag http://www.wantingitbad.co.uk/ at the top. To all the pages.
Guest Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 See what the permissions are on the online_store directory. They should be 755 I think.

webhosting4u Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 where do i go to see that. (ok so i'm new to this) I would check with your host if you do not have Root Access to that server. That message is tellng me Forbidden as if you do not have permission to see things on that server, like you have been suspended. Maybe I missed it, but can you see any other pages? Guest Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Have you deleted the index.php file? You can't get to that by typing it in direct.
The Doctor Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 Have you deleted the index.php file? You can't get to that by typing it in direct. I dont think it is there, but if i put it there the page just appears blank
Guest Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I dont think it is there, but if i put it there the page just appears blank Have a look on your FTP program in your root directory and see if there is a file there which is called index.php. If you type in http://wantingitbad.co.uk/online_store/index.php it doesn't find the page, but the other pages like the login page and the contact page are there.
Guest Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Okay now it is blank but before I was getting an Error 404 message.

I have added it, but if you follow that link now it appears blank.
evalguy Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I can get to the store using http://www.wantingitbad.com/online_store.htm But not with http://www.wantingitbad.com/online_store/ as you suggested it should. I would think that the index.php file is corrupt. However, if the first link I provided is the correct entry-point for your store, then why not just create an index.php with a redirect in it so you can get it back up and running quickly. Then take the time to backtrack and figure out what happened. -Neil.

Do you mean create a new file with the same text.
The Doctor Posted January 9, 2006 Author Posted January 9, 2006 IF i do recreate the file it still doesn't work.
