bitter-girl.com
Has anyone seen any contrib (or, is anyone willing to write one? <g>) that would function like this http://pdf-tools.com/asp/products.asp?name=BST when it comes to digital downloads? I'd like to automate the process of selling a digital download that includes information about the buyer in a watermark-like header. So, for example: you come to my osC-powered site and buy an e-book. It checks you out and sends you the file requested. But -- somewhere in between -- functionality to watermark the doc like the software used in the link above intervenes and "personalizes" the doc. It could call the buyer's name, the order number, their email address and perhaps their zipcode from the backend to insert into the doc... Thoughts? Xabbu
Has anyone seen any contrib (or, is anyone willing to write one? <g>) that would function like this http://pdf-tools.com/asp/products.asp?name=BST [...] Thoughts? I'm new to oscommerce, so I can not write a contrib. But I saw a module to Perl called "PDF Reuse" which enables you to add Text to a PDF. I assume there is someting similar for PHP. Just pointing... axb2006
I am looking for the exact same same functionality. Does anyone have a solution for how to achive this, or an alternative way of securing pdf files using the customers data? I guess the personalization of the pdf file have to be done when the customer tries to download the file. Otherwise a copy of each customers files must be stored on ther server. Steen. Guest
you can download a contribution that has the fpdf support and then integrate some code for it. There are several samples/scripts that can help including password protection http://www.fpdf.org
