Guest
Hi, :) Last week I finally appeared in Google (after about 1 1/2 months), and my number of hits has doubled from search referrals. Thats all good, but I noticed there are about 3 products that have not appeard there yet. I have 28 products in total but only 26 pages in google, some of the products have not yet appeared. Thats no good as I will be losing out in searches for those products. Is it normal for the pages to slowly filter into google. The pages that are not yet indexed are no different than any of the ones that have. I also have noticed that yahoo! and msn have only 5 or 6 of my products! Cheers! :) Bod. http://www.supertent.co.uk

I had a site that was rated #1 in all relevant searches for about a year and then without any changes at my end it went in the toilet. No point in trying to find anything out from them. Though looking at their cache of your site can tell you when they indexed your site. Hope this helps. BTW have you added unique meta tags? Backup before making changes. Backup before making changes! Backup before making changes!! You did do a backup? eh?

Currrently im using C-dynamic meta tags because it was very easy to install. I am considering using hte header tags controller at one point though as you do have more control rather than auto generation?? I also got SEO friendly urls and google sitemap generator to submit to google I do this quite often just incase. Is it worth trying out the header tags controller? I can duplicate my site to include that plugin rather than cdynamic meta tags as im running on a virtual type of server and can quickly undo any changes i make. Looking at how cdynamic generates its meta tags and keywords, It looks very relevant to the products im selling, and those meta tag analyzers rate my product pages very highly in relavency percentage. Cheers, Bod. I meant customized tags for each product. I have installed header tags controller and you can add what ever tags you like for each product. This allows total control of tags by you. Sounds like what you are using seems to be doing the job though. Backup before making changes. Backup before making changes! Backup before making changes!! You did do a backup? eh?
